What does "a diamond in a haystack" mean?

Our real estate agent used this term on the listing for our house and I have never heard of this saying.

The exact saying is:
" It is like finding a needle in a haystack", which is just like saying something is almost impossible to find.
He has used a play on words here. Rather than it being a "needle" in a haystack, he has said it is a "diamond" in a haystack. Which would mean it would be equally difficult to find but certainly a bigger reward than a needle.
Your house is difficult, if not impossible type to find but well worth it, because it is a diamond. The ad is quite clever!
